Our brightest hours (1)
Two years ago, a district court in the state of Goiás heard the case of a man who complained of being raped by a friend after being lured into an orgy. The orgy, by the way, included the plaintiff's wife.
After hearing all the parties involved, the judge said so:
The practice of group sex stands against the values and manners of our civilization. If the individual, by its own will, engages in an orgy promoted by some of his peers, he cannot, by the end of the affair, complain of being a victim of an indecent act. The one who yearns to satisfy his own or others lust by stepping into the bacchanalia, agrees consciously to play the active or passive role - such is the lack of morality and righteousness of this sort of event.
Ain't no joke.
